It makes a very classy looking vintage logo! I could see other practical uses for this type style besides just for branding. Possibly sprinkle these through out compositions to break up the super linear blocks of type.
These last two are take from what I am assuming is a motion piece for Audi.
Beside being totally awesome and sexy as shit with all the motion blurring and lenseflare, it features some pretty cool typographical concepts. I love how they are breaking up the type and display information with 3D space. This is something I really want to experiment with, 3D type in 3D space.
